New SADLE is a non-profit organization with a view to help marginalized and needy people through its various services. Leprosy, polio and disabled persons are the focus group of the organization but it offers services to women, children and ethical groups. Its major objectives are to cure people medically, provide social services, educational opportunity to less privileged children and income generating activities. These activities are carried out through its three rehabilitation centers, schools, production units, old age homes, day care centers and hospital/clinics. 650 producers/artisans (80% women) produce Dhaka and heavy cotton bed linen, table linen, bags and accessories, batik and thanka paintings, singing bowls, buttons, and paper products. New SADLE also promotes organic/non-organic tea, coffee, agro-products and non-timber forest products.
