Mahaguthi Craft with Conscience envisions an economically and socially prosperous society based on equity. With the mission of adhering to the Fair Trade values and principles, it provides goods, skills training, financial assistance and social services to marginalized groups, especially women. It also contributes to rehabilitation programs for women and various development projects. Mahaguthi specializes in handloom textiles and garments, ceramics and clay crafts, handmade paper, and musical instruments such as singing bowls. As a not-for-profit Fair Trade organization, Mahaguthi helps artisans and producer groups to produce various crafts, improve product quality, develop new products and sustain their own microbusinesses.
