Advanced Weaving Training
An Advanced Weaving Training was held from December 23 to 29, 2024, in Boudha, Nepal. This week-long program aimed to enhance the skills of 15 women weavers by introducing new techniques, exploring innovative weaving methods and materials, and providing a platform for participants to share and discuss common challenges faced during production.
In collaboration with the Association for Craft Producers (ACP), the training took place at Samajik Sip Bikash Udhyog (SSBU), both of which are members of FTGN.
The initiative is supported by the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) as part of the "Economic Empowerment of Marginalized Communities through Livelihood Training and Entrepreneurship Support" project.
