Basic Wood Carving Training
A two-month Basic Wood Carving Training took place in Bhaktapur, Nepal, from November 21, 2024, to February 5, 2025. The workshop provided 15 local women with essential wood carving skills, covering key areas such as basic principles, tool selection and maintenance, design development, carving techniques, detailing and texturing, as well as finishing and sealing. This initiative is supported by the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) as part of the "Economic Empowerment of Marginalized Communities through Livelihood Training and Entrepreneurship Support" project.
